FUTURE EVENTS
These are some of the events we would love to host next year!

MUKBANG
We would love to have a “Mukbang style,” event which means that we would get food from multiple locations. We would send out a poll asking, for example, where the “best brownies in NYC are” and the “best pizza” and then order from the places with the top-rated responses. This would make students feel like they have substantial input. We would then keep this event very chill and have some movies and games to play—of course in a cozy atmosphere!

ROOFTOP SOCIAL
One event idea we would like to bring if COVID guidelines get better would be to have a rooftop social event, where students will have music, great food, a photo booth, karaoke, and some fun interactive games to play. Also we would have a comedian or some other form of live entertainment—possibly students can compete against each other to perform.

KARAOKE+TALENT SHOW
We intend to host a fun night of Karaoke where students can sing whatever they want! We also plan to make this event as interactive as possible by inviting students to enter as part of the Talent Show. We would have prizes for the winning teams!

OUTDOOR FALL FEST
One specific activity that we intend to host is an Outdoor Fall Fest 🍂, which will be an event at a local park where we will play music, have outdoor booths for board games, painting, and crafts, and offer self-serve food, if regulations permit. There would be free goody bags for all attendees which will have fall-themed items, including candles, handwritten cards, mugs, and popcorn. This is a great opportunity for students from both Brooklyn and Manhattan campuses to come together for a fun and memorable day of interactive games and activities! Students will also be able to choose specific activities eg board/card games, painting, or crafts that cater to their specific interests!

ANIMAL CAFE
We can have play with volunteer dogs or cats, while also enjoying some coffee and bagels; We can partner with a volunteer or adoption program for this event to bring animals on campus and to encourage individuals to help adopt/donate for rescue animals.

PROM/"MET GALA"
Since many students in the Class of 2025 never got to experience a prom, we would like to host an event that mimics one! Even better, we would possibly like to make the attire of the prom "Met Gala" themed. We would have a red carpet and upload interviews of people on our Instagram.

PROFESSIONAL PANEL
With notable speakers, NYU alumni, and career professionals, we would aid students in their academic journeys and networking goals.

FOOD TRUCK FIESTA
If COVID restrictions are more lenient next year, we "partner" with the food trucks seen in front of Stern and Bobst and have an event where students can try out these food trucks for "free" (of course, we would pay the food trucks a set amount beforehand). With this event, students - who always want to try out these food trucks but never get to due to time constraints - can have the freedom to try them out. This event would be near the start of the Fall or Spring semester and will have a more laid-back, freely moving, “summer festival-like” vibe where students can connect over food with music and some outdoor games (cornhole, frisbee, etc.), in the background

NEW YORK BY NIGHT (YACHT EVENT)
We would love to host a formal/semi formal night on a yacht during sunset so students can watch the NYS skyline. We would have great music, cute photo booths and a fancy dinner. This would be a wonderful way to meet new people!

NIGHT AT THE MET
Students can enjoy a private screening in an icon museum. Food will be served as well. If permissible, we would love to host the event on the rooftop restaurant.
